While l appreciated some of the illustrations, I was very disappointed in this book. I found the sexual content gratuitous and adolescent and did nothing to contribute to what little story content was there. Some of the discussion on movies and their significance on individuals as well as culture was interesting, but the discussion quickly descended into a pretentious rant against the previous ideas.

There is no real resolution just a sort of gathering of ideas. He come across self-defeating at times and I feel like a little humor like he has in the scene with the cat meowing in the alley would make it more relatable. There are some really great lines in here.
